Our meetings
Newly bereaved moms are looking for a lifeline, a safe group that not only understands what it is like to lose a child to substance use disorder, but also knows the struggle and chaos of living with a child who fights to survive his/her addiction.
Every week, we meet to share our stories; we find comfort in knowing, that just like us, our fellow S.O.U.L. mothers and families desperately loved their child and tried everything and anything to keep them alive.
Together, we learn to survive.
“The human soul doesn’t want to be advised or fixed or saved. It simply wants to be witnessed. to be seen, heard and companioned exactly as is.”
— Parker Palmer
